I only say all this because you mentioned: Packout is a fantastic system, but it's not the best at everything, especially electronics type projects. I stocked up on Packout organizers 2 years ago I believe, when they had a good deal. It's definitely still worth waiting to see what deals are there. ![]() There's also a 3-drawer unit, but it's not cost effective as the different components aren't easily available anymore and the stock configuration doesn't seem ideal for RPi or similar needs. The 3D has a bulk compartment on top and room for 2 drawers, 2 organizers, or one of each. I've been replacing a lot of my Bosch L-Boxxes with Packout, but the Bosch system works well for smaller stuff and where I don't care about stacking. If it's a bunch of components plus tools and supplies, there's also the Bosch system. If it needs to be portable but not necessarily stackable, there's even more options. "Raspberry Pi stuff" can be extremely broad. In 2019, HD had the 3pc rolling + large + small tool box combo for $199. In 2020, they had the 3pc rolling + large + crate combo for $179. In 2021, they had the 3pc rolling + large + crate combo for $199. The HD sales flyer ad was for buy more save more - $50 off $199, $90 off $299. Last year's 3pc rolling + large + small tool box bundle was $219. HD has 3209 units of the 3pc combo in stock right now - suggesting that might be the combo tower promo this season. The deals usually don't become apparent until the start of November, and even then sometimes the prices aren't at their Black Friday low.
